Chemicals

Industrial and specialty chemicals sourced through Brenntag South Africa — including mining process chemicals (solvent extraction, flotation, dust control), a full water-treatment portfolio, industrial solvents, and lubricants, alongside the general acids, lyes, and salts used across manufacturing. Recent trades: caustic soda flakes (98.5% NaOH) on CIF terms out of China, bulk-bag calcium carbonate through Namibia, and a 170mt gypsum supply brokered out of the West Coast.

Solar

Solar equipment supply and installation partnerships. Apex worked alongside Highlande Energy SA on a rural solar housing rollout in Angola — supplying and verifying Sunpal solar and battery equipment through installation and rooftop commissioning.

Apex is also progressing a solar partnership with Toyon Energy, and is currently evaluating SKD inverter equipment from Guangdong Techfine Electronic as part of expanding this category.

Apex also works the other side of the deal — representing mines and producers directly, finding verified buyers for your production, and structuring the sale.
